RDID’s Wicker Park Condo was done in two parts. The client hired us to remodel their vacation condo. We remodeled the outdated kitchen using color and a little French flair. We warmed up this kitchen with wood tones and grey. The main highlight was a bright blue stove. The kitchen ended up much larger and more functional. The client hired us again to remodel both bathrooms in the unit. She wanted the guest bath to be based on Van Gogh’s painting, Iris’s. We incorporated yellow and green and natural wood to meet this vision. We enhanced the space with brass fixtures and contemporary finishes that heightened the aesthetic. The master bath was to be elegant and an extension of the subtle French and European flair we had incorporated throughout the condo. We tiled all the walls with texture, a sophisticated look with black and brass, and black framed shower doors. We used neutrals to keep the elegant look and brighten up the space.
