Rae Duncan Interior Design’s Home Sweet Home project was a gut remodel of a dated home in Barrington, IL. The client’s children were in high school and she wanted to convert the home in to a beautiful transitional and sophisticated space for her family. We used many classic elements like millwork and marble to elevate the space while utilizing many patterns and textures to develop more interest and complexity to the space. We added a dog wash station as the family had several pets. The home was furnished with contemporary items and acessorized to perfection for the client.
